05 Dodge 2500 diesel. Picked it up a few weeks ago to pull the travel trailer, a bit overkill but the V6 Ranger was not up to the task. It is sweet, will pull anything we need to move.

mine is a rare model for a small truck it is an 85 nissan with a 4 cyl. engine and factory duals. steel flat dump bed.that little 4 cylinder engine really grunts on a hill with a load.it came from the factory painted white but i painted it red. everyone knows a red truck will outrun a white one. ;D

I'm driving the farm truck right now, '99 Dodge 2500 5.9 V-8 5 speed. My truck, awaiting repair is a '99 2500 Cummins 6 speed with TST comp box and injectors. 500 hp and 1,200 ft/lbs. I, too, have a '79 2275 NTC230, RT9509 Fuller and a 9' dump.

Just as an aside, regarding trucks...

Okay, mine is a '92 GMC V-6 half ton.

But I have been looking for a slightly used 4x2, 3/4 ton regular cab with a small V-8 to use with a slide-in camper.

As I look around I have found that ~90% of the trucks sold in the last ten years have either an extended cab or crewcab.

A regular cab is hard to find, unless it is a company vehicle that has been abused.  :(

There is no need to say 'unleaded regular gas'. It's all unleaded. Just say 'regular gas'. It's not the 70s anymore. (At least that's what my wife tells me.)

When I was driving my wife to the store she commented " there goes an odd looking truck." What she saw was a good old fashioned regular cab with an 8 foot box  :D

BTW I drive an 03 Dodge 2500 diesel, manual shift, long box. Just broke in at 160,000 Km.
