Just wondering what everyone's experience is with these saws.  I have noticed that the 357xp usually brings considerably less than the 365.  We have a couple of 350's, which we really like for lighter work and cutting smaller firewood.  Thinking of going alittle bigger, so wanted to get some opinions before taking the plunge.

i don't have any experience with the 365. i do own a 357 and it is a nice saw. there is only .2hp  and 8c difference bw the two. the 365 may have an advantage in torque, but the 357 is lighter, though it weighs 13lbs, not the 12.1 advertised.
60cc saws are nice as a single-saw firewood tool. but they tend to be too heavy for lots of limbing and too small for bucking larger wood: a tweener that doesn't excel.
if i were you i would look at a 70-80cc (372,576,441,7900 (best of this bunch)) to go along with the 350.

i have a 2150 (350 husky) and a 2165 (365 husky) and use them daily. im looking towards a 2156/357 also. alot of people say the weight is almost the same and you should just go with the 365 or 372 even.  ???so the other day i went into the dealer and picked up every saw he had.  i picked up a 357 with an 18, then a 372 with an 18. not only is the 357 alot narrower (making easier handling) but it feels way way lighter than the 372.  :o

Thanks for the info guys.  I will post what we get and let everyone know what we think about the saw.

I have owned at the same time the 357xp and 365. 357xp is not close to the same weight as 365.

Also owned a MS361 and 357xp at the same time, guess what, same weight filled with fuel and bar oil and 16" bar and chains ready to use.
