Hello everyone ..

Anyone know the approximate gullet size of a 10" lucas saw blade?
Also was curious what arbor speed range the 10" Lucas blades are designed to run at?
And or what the desired rim speed might be?

Many thanks...

Wes I've been using a Lucas for around 6 years now.

I'm not sure what you mean exactly by 'gullet size' can you do a diagram type thing to show me in case our terminology is different down here?

As for arbor speed, I presume that is the RPM the blade spins at yeah? my 10" runs at 2100rpm with a max speed of 2700rpm.

As for tip speed, if you then use 634mm as diameter this gives a circumference of 1992mm using 2100rpm this implies the tip speed of a 10" Lucas to be approximately 69.72 metres per second.
