sidewall bars on e-classics

In a previous thread someone had made sidewall bars out of rebar. Does anyone remember the size he made them or the thread it was in? These were made for the older boilers that didn't come with anything on the sides whereas the new ones have bars on the sides to help prevent wood bridging and keeping the wood away from air holes.

I looked at a new one a while back and I am guessing the rods at 3/4 inch in diameter.  If that estimate is good I would say use #6 rebar.
