If you missed last weeks show like I did.
It'll be on in a few minutes. :)

JDeere

What they have been doing is replaying the prior weeks show at 9:00PM and the new show at 10:00PM. This has been great so you don't miss a show. I sure enjoy that show, probably more than anything else on TV.

forest.c,   I guess I had a vague spell. I saw that episode just the the other night (had it recorded). Tell him to try to make the logging expo in Essex, VT this year. Last year Rudy, Eldon and a lot of the crew were in Bangor. They were like rock stars. Seriously, tell him every logger I have ever talked to enjoys that show.

Looks like an American Loggers marathon leading up to tonights show is on. ;)

I was reading an article in the BDN about the Pelletier's new venture.
Here is the last paragraph of the article.

"We don't get any money [directly] from being on TV, so we feel we have to take advantage of these opportunities," Pelletier said. "We want to do good things for ourselves and for Millinocket and for the state of Maine. That's one of our goals — to employ people from Millinocket."

Last summer i worked up on the Golden rd for a forest management company, and met Rudy Pelletier and one of the boys Jason.  There were really great guys, and do really good work in the woods.  I definilty feel like they dont let the TV show get to thier heads. just my .02

I talked with Wayne Pelletier this past June up in Millinocket and he said they were getting ready to start filming for the 3rd season. The new shows should be out sometime after the new year.

I've never seen this show because I don't have cable TV, have heard a lot about it though from friends. What is the show like? Is it just another screwed up reality show that doesn't have anything to do with reality or does it REALLY show how American loggers operate?  :D

dsgsr

It's a good show, "Real" about the daily ins and outs of logging, brake downs, long hrs.
It's not all swearing and playing for the camera. I do wish they would show more of the equipment working in the woods. They spend a lot of time with the truckers.

It is a "reality" show. I watch with the sound off, and enjoy the scenery and the equipment. Don't care for the added drama that the producers add. :)

Mainelogger, that's pretty much what Wayne told me. He said 15 hour days with a camera in the cab makes for an even longer day.
