bumped my water temp back up to 180 when the cold snap started a week or so ago.  not using much more wood than usual(a lot) but wanted to say we are warm and toasty with some 22 to 25 cord left 8).  goin on the 6th winter, would be broke from heating this place if not for the free heat machine

I hear ya!  :)

I got mine free heat machine going on Thanksgiving.

I don't know how I ever got by without one. 8)

Are you replacing other heat 100%
which model.........pictures or more info?

I have a Central Boiler 5036. I only have it hooked to the forced air right now. I need to get the hot water hooked up this coming spring. I am heating 2000 sq ft. with it and it no problems keeping up. I am replacing LP 100%. It sure changes the way my winter is going. I love it! :)

BTW "free heat machine" is the brand name of my furnace :D

How about some information on your "FREE HEAT MACHINE" ?   I never heard of the brand, is it wood stove, OWB or combination, maybe a high temp re-fire type thinggy?

I would think any wood fired appliance you can through slabs into is nearly a "free heat machine".
