Trinity River running near full, just below the Lake Livingston Dam. Eight plus inches of rain has to go somewhere.

Just cause your head's pointed, don't mean you are sharp.

OK.  So no logging for me in East Texas  :).  This is shades of 2007.

It is best to keep the Texas Ranger hemmed in  :D.

Texas Ranger

We only received about 6 inches across the pond, the water only lapped at my door, never came in.

Here, on the other hand, was the last flood.

And, oh yeah, Danny, we have had about 10 inches of rain in the past two weeks.  Logging is in the future, like January, if we are lucky.

Wow. That's pretty amazing!

Looks like all the Flood gates were open, hate to imagine what will happen when it really starts coming down.  :o You take any water damage your way Woodwalker?

So texas, I can only presume that the last flood caused some nasty damage? You also said "pond" ; is that your pond, or one you live by? If its yours, you may think of digging some over-flow ditches. :)

Nice pictures.  ;D
