Just wanted to remind my fellow mountaineers, Sept. 21 to the 26th is the "new" early muzzleloader season. Does only.

Archery is open here in Missouri. I have not had the time to get out yet or even to scout so I am not expecting much.

My father in law called Friday and said he got his deer. At first I did not connect the voice and was trying to figure out who I was talking to. When I switched phones I could hear better and knew he got his with his car. I could not believe it he left it on the side of the road and did not get a permit to get it butchered. He does not hunt.
