Fall Pics , ya its that time of the year !!!

Here is a pic I took this morning looking east from where I sit at the computer. September is really one of the nicess months . Bugs are about gone , the bees are finishing up the honey haul , hunting is just around the corner , the forest is turning to its most bestest colors, and above all its my birth month :D

Marcel, you need to blow that picture up and frame it and hang it on the wall close by so when you look out and the ground is covered with 3 to 4 feet of snow, it will lift your spirits.

In reality , it was to be on the 15th but someone at the hospital had forgot to take some test and they postponed my coming into this world by a day ... That just gives me a darn good reason when ever I am late for anything . :D

Beautiful picture, Marcel. We had our first frost up here toward the end of August. It was really early. Frosted last night again but then, we've also had days in the 70's F since the first frost. Supposed to be in the 60's today.

Further more , as this being a family oriented forum , there will be no , yes that was a no, bikini pics of me taken at any time for any reason , I dont own one , let alone know how to put one on ,Sorry for the disapoinyement caused to some :-\ my teachings where only on how to take them off ..... of someone else, this someone being female . ;D

Here are a few pics of the changing of the colours , First one is looking down the driveway looking east , the second is looking north from the varanda. It is only at the beginning of the clolour change it should get a lot better as time flies/flys/flize/flise airborn ;D by .

This is also my favorite time of the year. We are not at the amount of color in your post it will take a week or so and we will be right there. We had a very light frost a few days ago, the squash and watermelons have kicked the bucket.

I lived just south of border in eastern ny . The fall is the only time I miss it. We get some fall color here,on Mt Cheaha, The highest point in Alabama, But nowhere near what I remember. Thanks for reminding me

Looks great. I'm not sure we will get much color this year, its been such a drought the past 4-5 weeks that trees are dropping there leaves green, or they are turning dry crunchy brown and falling. Well see in the next week or so.

Tim those two last pics are red/soft/river maple tomorow if the weather allows for a good pic , I will take one or two of sugar maples and of some other types of trees . I think that this week end may be the best for colours . Leaves are starting to fall and cover the ground the nuts are also falling of the trees .

This morning's view from my seat by the puter ... looking to the east down the drive. My shop is in that part of the barn that is seen on this pic.

These guys honored me with there presence yesterday , in all there where sixteen of them, we often see turkeys , but this is propably the second biggest number of them together I have seen here .
