Boy, this forum sure has been slow today. Where'd everybody go?  :o You leave Old Butch and me no choice but to post more school construction pictures. 8)
This is a gazabo we constructed 2 years ago on a 60 acre farm about 20 mile SE of Pittsburgh.

Hi shopteacher. Nice construction work.
I run sawmill out of little Boston,PA. When I'm not busy working.
Looking for this year's supply of logs.

Well I'm glad it was slow, because those pictures made it all worthwhile.

Yeah them things are fun to build from scratch. Two mitresaws set at 22.5 degrees, one for the left cuts and one for the right cuts.
Whatcha use to cut the top gables??? You tell me your secret and I will tell ya mine. ;D

That gazebo is awesome!! Dad and I are getting ready to build one by our 3 acre lake, constructed primarily with cedar. Should be fun!!

Typhoon-

You have a lake constructed primarily with cedar? Now, that I'd like to see! 8)

Typhoon;
You got plans for that cedar lake?  I live on a hillside here in Pa, and could never get water to stay on it for a lake, but with cedar I could prop it up.  :D

Hi Rav,
No, got jury duty starting today. When I'm off to school I leave a 6:00 am. 40 minute drive and have to check in at 6:45
Classes start at 7:45.  Would rather be going to school, but duty calls (with a big summons).

You have to be at work at 6:46?!  :o :o :o

Well, I'll bet you get out early. Our official start time is 8:40, but I try to get there by 7:00. Elementary school is very labor intensive. There are so many things that I have to get ready, as I teach in most of my subject areas every day. That's a lot of lessons and materials that I need to have ready to go.

The end of the day is 3:55 - except when we have meetings. I have a meeting until 5:00 tonight, one from 4:00 - 5:30 on Wednesday and then 6:30-8:00 the same night for open house.

I am also keeping a group of 4 after school on Tuesday to help prep the room for open house.

Thursdays and Fridays, I usually stay until 6:00 to try to get things ready for the coming week,

No wonder I am into power naps on the weekend!

Do the right thing with the jury - and thanks for helping to keep our justice system working!
