We are about to start the wild blueberry harvest, if we get any decent sun.  So here is a new one on me, they are suggesting blueberries improve blood flow, and that translates into viagra.  I will leave it at that.

This post must be a test to see how many guys would look and leave no evidence they were here. Probably all out buying chocolate, steaks, and blueberries.  :D :D :D

Blueberries....Official berry of the forestry forum.

I have never had an opportunity to eat wild blueberries. Are they much different than the ones you get at the store?

Sprucegum

You get the same amount of flavor in a smaller package - blueberries I'm talking about.
They won't be ripe for another 3 weeks here. I eat alot of'm with no visible side effects  :-X

LeeB

I guess that translates to no visible out front effects either?  :D  :D

I'm guessing the blueberry consumption of this room has gone up considerably..I wonder if we will see the results of that in about 9 months.

We could call them the blueberry boomers.

That sure is a long time for them to have any effect. :o

The wild blueberry is the king you can tell the the crown on the top.  Much more tasty than the large watered down variety one finds in the store.  That is my bias opinion, and fair, us grower have paid a lot of money to make that statement.

My kids birthdays are May, June and July, yup, after the crop came in.( it doesn't take that long)  I was not the only one eating berries, I have heard it works both ways.

They also keep you from rusting, antioxidant.

My favorite way to have them is fresh, by the hand full and dried.  We place them out in the sun on boards.  After 3-4 days I but them through a 1/4" screen and the large plump ones go back on the rack for more drying time.  They are extra sweet this way.

Wow, if you had said this earlier I might have been able to get Amy to come to the pigroast this year.  ;)

We are coming to America, but to visit my parents. It has been a couple of years and you never know how many more years you will have the chance.  :-\

But we are going to come some year for sure, but we won't say till the last minute so that we don't scare off anyone...  :D
So, how did I end up here anyway?
