I read your recipe for the soup in the knowledge base and was wondering about the 3 cans of sliced potatoes. Do you use canned potatoes and if so can you substitue fresh ones? Looks like a good cold weather soup and will give it a try next cold front that comes thru. Hope it's soon. ;)

Jeff

You could use fresh ones. This recipe started at deer camp. No time for peeling potatoes at deer camp.

You dont need to make any, just get in da truck and head for escanaba. We got plenty. ;D  If inspector gadget can make it, so can you and patty!

Thanks Jeff, I see why you use canned. I'll use them as the recipe sounds pretty good and don't like to tinker with what works.

Patty and I were talking about going to Michigan as it's one of the few states I've never been to. But our employees are all gone now (one got married and moved and the other started school out east) so it's just us. Oh well retirement's only 18 years away. :D

Jeff

Well, may I suggest you get started on new employees, that should only take 14 years before you can leave em alone.  ;D
