IT's in Miss and east Tn and Ala La Fla you just need to get out and beqat the bushes Cypress is not an easy species to log esp with a lot of water falling as has been the case lately Most cypress nowadays is used for mulch and fence with a few folks specializing in siding etc and a lot of big mills don't mess with it because it's so hard to debark and the probs it causes by wrapping around everything But those that do prob have to have every bit they can get most times to fill their own orders jmo  What part of MIss are you in

2 local mills that cut mostly cypress..They are both hurting for logs. Spring and early summer are bad times for cypress loggers, the woods are too wet, around here, actually under water. Stock up during the fall and early winter..

There is a place at or near Black Oak Arkansas that sells cypress.... I know they Saw there.... not sure if they would be a source for logs or not...       There is also a guy where I work that logs land in the St. Francis river bottoms (NE Ark) and I think he has cypress.... I'm not sure if he's sellng logs,  or boards though.
