Warp?

If you shed dry lumber for a few months and it doesn't get any warp/twist/cup, is it pretty safe to say it won't warp once it's kiln dried? Or is that when the warp/twist/cup will take place, in the kiln? Thanks!

The threat of most warp is gone after predrying. The exception is cup. The lower you go in MC, the worse the cupping can be.

If you can, put the cupped wood(or any you feel is prone to cup) on the bottom of the airdry/kiln stack.  Weight the top of the stack if possible.
