I got a phone call from Marcel and he has not been able to get on the Forestry Forum. We checked I.P. bans and blocks and browser problems and internet connections and from all appearances, it looks like it is in his satellite connection not allowing him to get on, either by a block, or some sort of routing or dns problem. Anyhow, tomorrow he is going to make some calls to his ISP to see if he can get things straightened out. Until then, we can just sort of pretend to be talking about him.

Marcel probably has way too much snow to shovel to be online anyways. :D Hope he is not getting the same kind of weather that we are here in Saskatchewan. Don't know if the crop will ever get put in let alone grow here. It's snowing here now, but not as bad as a bit further south of us where the ground is covered. :

That crazy bunch in Ontario finally outlawed speaking French in Quebec!

Marcel is going to have to perfect his Eeengleesh before he can get his connection back :D :D

Boy, wouldn't it be just terrible if when he finally gets his connection back it is yuper night?

I just missed another call from him as I was outside picking up before the storms get here they are predicting. I tried calling him back, but got an answering machine. I have no idea if it was Marcel or what the french speaking gentleman asked me to do.

His Satellite signal must come from the Hubble. They plucked it out of orbit today :D :D :D :D

With the upgrades they are doing to it Marcel may be able to see right into all of our computers ;D ;D

If that is the case I better brush up on my French.....now where is that Rosetta Stone address ??? ??? ???

I just heard from him. His ISP told him "They were working on it" If you know Marcel, you will know he was not happy with that answer.

Maybe his IP address is comming across in French. He'll have to pass it through the universal translator first. :D

Not sure what satellite provider he is using, but my guess is it is caused by a latency issue. I had a similar problem with some sites when I first went to satellite 10 years ago. Haven't had any problems in a very long time now.
