MAY 7: LUMBER GRADING WORKSHOP

The Lumber Grading Workshop will be held at the Jasper Inn in Jasper. The workshop will be from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The purpose of the workshop is to show how to identify lumber grades, with hands-on experience and learning concepts and terminology. Daniel Cassens, professor of wood products at Purdue and part-time sawmill owner, will be the instructor. Registration is $95 and is due by April 30.
