Please excuse my technological illiteracy, but can someone please tell me why the following topics are at the top of the list under 'Timber Framing/Log Const.', when they date back as far as a couple years?

I've only scanned through it quickly and see alot of interesting info, will those threads remain in that column?

Those topics are sticky threads. They will always be at the top because the information in the threads is most relevant to timber framing. They answer a lot of the questions beginners need to know.

Yep, the ones in bold at the top are "stickys".  Kept there due to ongoing relevance.  The non bold below them are in order of last posted to.
Anything someone can design, I can sure figure out how to fix!
If I say it\\\\\\\'s going to take so long, multiply that by at least 3!

  Also the guys who writ them is really smart as well as bosses of the section.  So we just let them sit up there.   Welcome and enjoy the rest of the site.
