Have a 460 that needs rings ,stihl dealership wants 25$ apiece . Has anyone used aftermarket rings, and where to buy them? Thanks

I'm using an aftermarket piston and rings from Bailey's in my 394xp. So far so good. Look to the left for a link to Bailey's. The kit was $29.95 for piston, pin, bearing, and rings. I believe they have just the rings for most all pro-sized saws.

for 2  factory rings

As a matter of fact I do have a set of after market rings in a Stihl 038 Mag which has been modified . So far ,no problems .

I can't remember exactly where I got them but they were under 15 dollars .

Thanks everyone, I think I will go with the aftermarket rings.
