 I've attached a link to the brochure for this event. I've never been to it before so I can't say if it's worth the $40 fee. I am planning to attend even though it is a 5 hour drive  >:(.

It is a good event, at least when I attended one a couple years back.
Typical in that there will be a wide range of attendees with very different backgrounds and interests in what is being presented. Some will know so little but ask a lot of time-consuming questions (not all bad either) and others will know more than the presenters and only be bored with the slow pace.
The facility is good and the organization of the meeting is good.
