Was wondering what the status of the Bio-Mizer was? Does anyone know when they will be available to buy? Thanks  Mike

They are getting to sell the commercial units.  The homeowners units like Jeff's have been delayed.

Last year we were told they would be out late fall 08.  I had a fire and had to replace my taylor.  I tried to get ahold of a biomizer, but noone could help me.

I have a new Taylor now, so it will probably be 15 years before I am in the market again.

Thanks for the infomation. Their web site leaves a little to be desired. I would at least think they could keep folks up to date on what is happening. I guess I will just have to wait like everyone else.

If you go to the website and sign up for the updates, you get a link to the new brochure which is quite impressive. The Bio-Mizer looks like it has evolved way past what sits in my back yard. Granted, the Brochure pictures the million BTU model, but its looking pretty good.

I just found out that the energy tax credits were extended in 2009 by the TARP act.  It covers energy star devices but also bio-mass devices.  I would assume that  this would cover things like the bio-mizer wouldn't it??

You can find out more info by googling energy star tax credits.  It describes everything that is allowable.

Jeff, how is the Bio-mizer working out for you this winter?

I ran out of any type of suitable fuel the week before Christmas. With zero combustible fuel available anywhere, there was not much I could do. Reddog and I drained, purged and blew out the entire system, added some RV antifreeze and put it to sleep.
