Around here people have shot mules thinking they were deer, but you are the first I have heard of shooting deer thinking they were mules. :D

That is some big deer.Got a good size neck.What was the weight?

Don't know the weight, but after dragging it for over a mile to the truck, I'd guess 5,000# >:(  I shot him at 325 yards after stalking him for about 500.  That was one of the most enjoyable hunts I've ever had.
