This is a table I built from 3 cherry burl cross section boards I got from Pasbuild. These baby's were warped and twisted, but thay worked up pretty good   ;D  ;D    The pedistal is a chunk of redwood root

No story except Jill is always on me to use a coaster. I made this table to fit between 2 recliners and each recliner will always have a coaster now  ;)  ;)

They are just sandstone coasters and sit in there so ya can change em out if ya don't like bears

All 3 pieces were cut from the same burl

Very Nice Steve,

What finish did you use and how fine did you sand prior to applying?
Home built cantilever head, 24 HP honda mill, Case 580D, MF 135 and one Squirel Dog Jack Russel Mix -- Crickett

Burlkraft

I finished it with mineral oil and sprayed it with water based poly.
It's sanded to 600 grit. It was a good day in the shop the day I was spraying. The top is smooth as glass, not a ripple in the finish anywhere   ;)  ;)

Alright Stevie I bid $1.00 okay $2.00 and I will let you pay shipping.  :D

That table is AWSOME.

I desided to make Christmas presents this year to try and save money. It is the first time I have been in the wood shop for over a year. I am loving it just wish I would have started earlier so there was not so much presure. I am hoping after Christmas I will stay in the shop and get some more things done. But nothing that looks as good as what you do.

I want to win the Christmas Contest, but I do not think I can nominate myself!!!  >:( Who ever wins it is a very lucky person. Another AWSOME piece by Burlkraft. 8) 8) 8)
