I have seen Partner 5000,  Partner 7000, and Partner 5500 in Sweden, but I have never seen a Partner 6000 before, You have a 6000 in Oz?

Sorry I got it wrong  ::) ::) I knew about the 1000 series saws but not alot about them I asked Dad yesterday to confirm the size He said it was a 5000 but they ran like a 6000  so thats what some blokes called them down here Because the 50cc 5000 ran alot better than most 60cc saws at that time  also said nothing else would come close on the revvs the 5000 could get up to.

Especially if its the 5000 plus model. The 5000 plus closed port were way ahead of their time and still run with the newer saws of today.  8)

My avatar is a partner 5000 metal sign 5' x 6' that was in a husqvarna shop that sold out, just had to have to put over my work bench since the Partner 5000 is my favorite 3 cube saw even over todays new saws.

I let a friend use one of my back up Partner 500 open port and he now owns it  :-\  :(.  The early 5000 was also open port like the 500.

That was just mean Niko.  ;D    I think somewhere else I had heard that or read it, I know I had forgotten it!  ;) Anyways, mine has been a really good little saw.

The 41/141 never was a bad saw, disregarding that Poulan assambled it - the detuned US version of the 142 and the 240 is another story....... >:(
