6202 is a good bearing number. However the dimensions do not match up.

Outside diameter          35 mm.

Inside diameter            15 mm.

Width of bearing race   11 mm.

There have been two variations of that bearing made. One with a 15.9 mm. inside diameter and one with a 16 mm. inside diameter.

The DW probably stands for the type of seals on the bearing, and I cannot tell what the DW stands for.

So the 6202DW should be a good number if the dimensions I gave match.

   As Gary said
The 6202 is a good number.
Is your bearing sealed, sheilded. or open. One side or both??
For use in a electric motor, sealed is fine. If the endbell of motor has a grease fitting just take the seal off with a small screwdriver.

Others here have already given you good info but just for grins, I called up my dad.  He works at a bearing supply house.  He says 6202 is a good number and that he probably has them sitting on the shelf.  He'd have to check the "DW" in the catalog, tho.

Let me know if you are still having issues locating one.

Do the dimensions given mean it was only made as a metric configuration, or are those just the SAE equivalents? I have several hundred bearings new in the box, from tiny to very large. I just don't think I have any metric-labeled ones. I don't have time to open all those boxes looking for a stamped number like that but I don't mind looking for a certain manufacturer number if someone can list some crosses etc.

The oil is all in Texas, but the dipsticks are in D.C.
