I remeber awhile back in the spring a fellow posted a picture of a cherry and an oak growing together, and he was upset because the loggers has scraped it. A few people commented that it would be wild if they grew together completely, what it would look like if you cut it open.

I tried searching for this using the search feature, but no luck.

If the guy ended up cutting it down and sawing it up, what did it look like?

I must have missed that one, however I have serious doubts if its possible for the two to grow together in a way to saw them.

Would probably grow out of a merged stump. Growing real close togather. Still be two different trees.

I remember the "Choak" expression.  Seems like it was a post from OWW about some trees on his woodlot, but I may be mistaken.
