52°. Yesterday felt like Oct 13th.

Yesterday morning was nippy here, but by afternoon it was real warm with that south wind and sun. Not hot, but a day to bring sweat to your brow cut'n wood or thinning.

52 here this morning also. We have about 500 crows that roost here at night back over the hill. Every morning they swarm and fly up river before the sun is up and come back after it sets. Can't figure out why unless it's a gathering to migrate. But we have crows here year around. They do this every fall. Mexico has monarch butterflies, and we have the crow hangout. :D

We have had 3 nights of good frost so far. But if the sun shines and  no wind it is quite pleasent even at 35 to 40.

The first snows are a bit of a shock, but I don't mind winter time.

Someone told me it did snow in Maine. Somewhere far,far away.  ;D  They had no idea how much,probably one of those 1-2 inches late fall storms. Gone in 1 day.

Got a thin layer of slush thrown around and now it's frozen. I'll bet even the dirt roads are slick.

50° this morning. The warmth does not want to leave us.
As the weatherman said last night,this would be great weather even on Sept 20th.
When it does return to normal temps,I can hear the outcry about how cold it is.  :
Should be at least 10° cooler each morning.

Was warm the last few days, now it's fall. Temp is 42° today with rain and a wind advisory for gusts over 70mph saying there could be significant beach erosion and power outages. Rain and snow in the forecast for almost all of the next 10 days.

Just heard on the news that some of the bouys out in the big lake have reported waves of 28'. Been a long time since I've seen the lake this angry.
