Just wondering if the Husky uses the same mix as a stihl?

My local pawn shop has a Husky 136 for $89.00, that's about half of what northern wants...Looked at it a couple of days ago and the bar still has the husqvarna name on it

I think I will stop in tomorrow and see if it starts

Most guys that rebuild saws will tell you to run 32-1 in Huskys and Stihls. The 50-1 is to pass lower emissions at the cost of longevity.

Also keep in mind that the 136 is really a Poulan.
Not to say it isn't a good machine.
And made in the good old USA!

Thanks for the info,
I have a stihl 017 that I use to trim with around the mill and I have a poulan "wild thing" that refuse's to run once it gets hot.

local chainsaw guy say's my poulan has scared cylinder walls because I was running the stihl mix instead of poulan...

I wasn't going to buy the husky if I had to carry two different mix's with me.

I plan on buying a nice stihl with a 20" bar this fall when they go on sale at our local farm store.

Thanks again for the input.
