Had a scare yesterday. The 310 wouldn't start. Did not hit not even once! Stooped to letting frined use some starting fluid. Nothing. A few hours later, a new plug....stihl nothing! Removed the new plug and let it set overnight. This morn I just set it to the 'idle' on position. No choke. Started right up! So...87* and much humidity requires no choke. Never ran into that before...but that's the first way I go from now on. I can always bump it a bit to choke if it doesn't start right off.

If it really was flooded then open the throttle all the way and crank. It will usually start eventually. But when they flood they almost always make a little burble when they try to start. Kinda strange. Joe
Let's all be careful out there tomorrow. Lt40hd, 22' Kenworth Flatbed rollback dump, MM45B Mitsubishi trackhoe, Clark5000lb Forklift, Kubota L2850 tractor
