Are those really big snakes  ???  If those are tire tracks...Them are big snakes  :o  :o  :o

Eh...Jeff  ??? ??? ??? :D :D :D
Why not just 1 pain free day?

Tom

Those aren't big rattlers, they're Texas Rattlers.  We have some big ones in Florida.  Got some stinking big moccasins too.  You know, the one with the big , fat, black body and little wiggly tail that will chase you across the field just for the fun of it.

I think most of those Texas Rattlers stay little like the ones in the picture 'cause there is no place to hide.  :D

Several years ago about Aug. best I can recall I had the opportunity of causing the demise of two diamondbacks as they consummating the end of the ritual love dance. between the two there was 9 feet of snake in that broomsage. To this day I still think about how many snakes I prevented that day. ;D

Don

My only disappointment was that I discovered it was two snakes instead of one big whopper. I thought I had found the python of rattlesnakes. :o

It is against the law to kill a rattlesnake in Utah. (So says my wife.)

Did you see the PBS show last night where a woman was lying down with dozens of male snakes who were going after the female?  ;D

There is no need to say 'unleaded regular gas'. It's all unleaded. Just say 'regular gas'. It's not the 70s anymore. (At least that's what my wife tells me.)

If I lived in Utah.....I would be a law breaker!!!!

I hate rattlesnakes.  I lived in South Georgia for 29 years and I haven't missed rattlesnakes at all since moving to Illinois.

sprucebunny

I REALLY, REALLY hate snakes ... have a hard time even looking at pictures, but i ran into a couple today... might even have interrupted something... You can't see the second one in this pic.

The famous snowsnakes  :D

Unfortunately, the snow didn't seem to slow them down a lot. And there I was thinking I was safe this time of year.
But I'm pretty sure that yellowjackets aren't out yet  :D

Being  cold blooded, wouldn't they just sieze up about halfway across the snow bank? :D

I threw snow at the other one and it slithered away.

This one chose the snow ... there was bare ground to sneak away on, too. It laid there for a bit and was no less active ?

Guess they are not too smart.  :D

If that was my yard, the snake would have thought it was already probably dead already and mistook the snow for a cloud. That still makes it stupid though, cause snakes don't go to heaven.

A little snake got into the house one time from the door being left open.  My wife freaked out.  They are OK as long as they stay out of the house :).

We have two or three snake "incidents" a year here in the woods.  Usually rattlesnakes and usually big ones.  Occasionally we have a copperhead "incident".

Now why would a snake get in there thats just strange. Was it the heat? Did ya reach down and pull him out of did ya just wait for em to come out. YA should of took it in to a repair shop and say somethings wrong with it. :o
