I am going up on the 10th. My brother lives in Vermont so I will go to his house Friday night and we will go to the show the next day.

I would be an idiot to not go, as it is so close, but I have been an idiot before.

Unfortunately I have a lacrosse game to ref on Saturday and Sunday is MOTHERS DAY!!!
(who puts these things on mothers day?)

I doubt I can pull off bringing the wife to the logging show as a mothers day treat...any ideas on how to sell this one?

WHat if I see a good deal on a new chainsaw, etc?  How do I convince her it is for her?  I dont think telling her  "At least it's not a racecar" is going to work on this one.

Maybe I can take the kids and give her a day to herself....hhhmmmmm

Go on Friday , tell her she can't come because you have to pick something up . (while giving her a wink) Then when you show up with a new saw its not your fault she assumed something else.

Yeah, that might work, but it looks like I would be sleeping in the van for a few days...

at least it is getting warmer....

I don't suppose bringing her a t-shirt would cover it ?
