I have a fuel leak on the right side of the fuel tank of my Husqvarna 385xp. Is is about in the middle of the tank. There is a plastic tube that has a small hose on it that goes to the back of th ecarbreator. This tube moves in and out and this is where it leaks. Wondering if anyone knows how to fix this.

The line has probably shrunk up - age? or the "new gas" we're getting -  Most likely, you'll have to replace it & the grommet it goes through.
I was the smartest 16 year old I ever knew.

I had the same trouble last fall with my 385XP.R&R the fuel line, new one is only about $5.00 from Baileys. My saw got so bad it would not stay running, new line took care of it.

Had a 455 leaking and found it was the return fuel line. You have to half take the saw apart to put it back onto the barb only for it to come off the next day. Like they said order some new fuel line and when you install it leave yourself about 1/4 inch of slack in the line so when it shrinks up again it will not pull off.
