I am drying my first load of maple in a DH4000. I have about 2000bdft of maple that is around 16-18%. The controller is reading 22 Deg F and 75 Rh. The schedule for my moisture content says I should set the controller at 120F and 30% Rh. SHould I slow it down because the wood is so cold? This is only my second load in the kiln so I am still full of questions.

smiley_furious disregard the above post, I realize now the kiln wont heat up fast enough to cause the wood any stress, newbie mistake

Keep at it Lance.  The Nyle kiln is very forgiving.  I did just about everything wrong with my first charge, spalted and red maple, and it all came out just fine.
