I am having a problem that my Glow plugs don't want to turn off when I start the engine. It appears intermittentant but getting worse. Has anyone run in to this?

Dont hesitate to call Wood-Mizer.  That is what they are there for.  And they really dont mind.

It sounds as though you may have a bad glow plug relay. You do not want to run the engine while the glow plug light is on. You will burn up the glow plugs. When the light is on, unplug the relay and see if the light goes out. If it does you need a relay. If it does not we have a shorted wire. If the mill is under 2 years old it is covered under warranty.    Thanks

Finally got time to get in my books to answer my own question it is on the altenator side of the engine in the black box. Trouble shooting by the print it could be either the Glow plug relay or starter relay. I am betting on the starter relay but a volt meter will tell tomorrow.

Glow plug relay is located on the Right side of the engine on  the Cat ( oposite the injection pump) black cover with 1/4 " bolts. The glow plug relay will be the large high black relay. There are other fuses and relays in the same area for the throttle relay and fuel solenoid. There was to be a resistor to be added to mills that were not original equipment pre 2006. Most customers installed them, I think some went to the trash. It is just a black wire with a piece of shrink tube on it. The light should stay on about 18 seconds and then go out. When you remove the relay shake it. If there is a rattle in it it needs replaced.
Part # for the Glow plug relay is 023359
Resistor Kit is 052663 added on revision A 7.03. this resistor is a black wire in cavity 1 on the relay socket. If you have your wiring drawing which came with the mill you can look as see if it is there.
Hope that will fix you up. Check the wires going to the Glow plugs with a 12 v test light, is the current at all times?

The starter realy should have nothing to do with the glow plugs. ?
