Looking for a chainsaw safety course, I know I've picked up some bad habits and there are times I find myself saying "Please don't fall on me" when I cut a notch. Would I contact the Dept. of forestry/agriculture in my state?
remember man that thy are dust.

Your local saw shop should have information on what's available in your area.

Once upon a time I thought I new how to run a chainsaw, then I attended a Game of Logging Course and learned I didn't know jack...  GOL classes extend well past saw operation and have courses that go into skidder operation,  etc GOL 800 798 4839

Now I may hear about this but here goes:

Joe Glenn's Timber Harvest Training

ADMIN EDIT: Yep, yer hearing about it. Its against forum rules to post someone elses personal contact information, especially a cellphone numbeer. Not a good idea for anyone involved.

Joe is a GOL instructor with a hell of a resume, etc he trains in MO, IL, IN and KY I do
believe.

make it a safe day!!!!
