I just cut a huge syp into these wide slabs. Should I stack and dry, then resaw them or go ahead and cut to size now?
Thanks,
Kip

Kip, I'll tell ya' what I would do;  I would find me some people in your area of the country that make "rustic" type furniture and see if they could use some wide splabs for bench seats or backs, as well as for any sort of tables from couch to coffee or even a bar type table. I just sold a couple thousand dollars worth this last week.  8)  I sure wish you were closer so I could get themn for resale. ;D

If you'll be wanting them sawed thinner or narrower, do it immediately.  Sometimes thy take on odd shapes in the pile, even when they are properly stacked and stickered. :(
I eat a high-fiber diet.  Lots of sawdust!
