I just got a call from my Sister that said hey, were going to the cabin tomorrow to work on the screen porch addition, get ready!   I said O.K.!   I  just gotta be back in time for visitors coming on Thursday.  She says O.K.!   So I was going to post some photos of what we have been doing in the U.P.  and found an interesting little tid-bit that I thought might make a good whatzit.

Whatszit? :)

We've been working on putting a screen porch on the back of the cabin for my sister.  Last time up we got the steel on. This time is to do some finish work and perhaps even install the screen.

It looks kind of like the reflection of the underside of the steel roofing, at least the silver in the deepest layer of the pic. There might even be some window blinds in the pic somehow.

Yep, I got that all done after you and Joan left all by my lonesome. Tom went in and took a nap and I went ta work.  When I got done I went to lake Huron to De-Funk.  There was an endless number of nasty creatures and their excrement living in and around that chimney.

   First, it is ridiculed;
   Second, it is violently opposed; and
   Third, it is accepted as self-evident.

I figure this is as good a thread as any to post some of our post-pig roast U.P. trip photos.  Sprucebunny, Isawlogs, Onewithwood and wife, Tom and I all went to the cabin near De Tour on Monday after the piggy roast. The Stump Jumper Family and Furby went the day before and were camping on my property when we arrived.

We had a really good time up there. We spent the first afternoon and evening exploring mine, my sisters and my neighbor Lou's property.

The first evening the Monday arrivals went to the Raber Bay Bar for supper along with my friend Lou.  :)

Oh! You want to know what it is, not what I saw. I thought it was a Rorschak test.

That Polaris OWW was driving is a bear to steer. I cant drive it. I cant turn it without hurting my self. OWW graduated to a better quad at lou's. This one even had onboard weaponry.  :)

Everytime we would leave the cabin and head west on N. Caribou Lake Rd. Tom would say "HEY!" my name is on the road.  I never saw it. I was beginning to think he was a little touched when we even went on a planned expedition to find it on a heavily shadowed afternoon. Lynda ndTom and Idrove back and to on that roadseveral times and didnt see it.  The day after Tom left. Lynda andI went to look again, and guess what? TOM! WE FOUND YOU! :D
