Assuming it is a relatively square acre, anyone know how many square feet?

Even a round acre would have 43,560 square feet in it, else it wouldn't be an acre!

Okay, now I'm really feeling stupid.  Don't know why but I was thinking long and skinny would be less than relatively square.  Guess that is kind of the same as which weighs more, a ton of feathers or a ton of bricks.   :-[

Well, I usually kept about a thousand pigs on a onefourth acre space. Therefore, there would be about 16,000 pigs feet per acre.

Robert,
A ton of pigs weigh more, of course. ;) ;D

An acre is 208.7 feet by 208.7 feet that gives 43,555.69 square feet

I might not be able to remember the name of the person I was just introduced to, but you could wake me up out of a sound sleep and I could tell you that there were 43, 560 square feet in an acre and 640 acres in a square mile. :o  And I could tell you the phone number of my neighbor when I lived in Quantico, Virginia back in 1971.

I think and acre is also 10 square chains, but I have never seen a square chain.  At least not one that stayed that way.  There are also about .4 Ha in an acre.  I suppose you would  need about 5 acres to have a Ha Ha.  I know a fellow with over 5000 acres; I suppose he's laughing a good bit. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

If I'm not mistaken, a cubit is the legnth from ones elbow to the tip of the longest finger (that is with your arm bent). Generally about 20 - 22 inches.
