I came across these two affectionate trees in the woods today.  They looked like they were holding hands limbs ;D.



They are definitely an odd couple.



Joined at the hip?  No, the root collar :D



Theirs is a "mixed marriage".  The off-spring would either be called Water Pine or Loblolly Oak :D ;D
