Tom is on the right track. It is OSB that is made with some sort of biomass. Perhaps lawn clippings, corn stalks, or leaves. It looks like it is made with more binder than we will ever see, due to the shiny surface.   ;D

What it is isn't important as it simply is a hot pressed structure board. Its what it is made of, that is the question.  :)

Unless it is green (seems like everyone is saying grass...I am color blind) Then I am with Dave, it's broccoli...or maybe asparagus ?  Ok now I am sure of what it is, collard greens. Collard green wall tile for the bathroom.

The Forest Products Laboratory not only finds ways to use wood, but it finds ways to conserve it as well. Its amazing the things the FPL has done over the years. Including what should be a TV show: CSI TREES  Forensic Investigations. :)

I'll post more on that later.  :)

So anudder whatzit from the lab. For what function was this old machine built?
