I was thinking about going since it isn't but about 2 hours from the house.

I have been three or four times.  It is held mostly inside the World Congress Center (or at least it was in the past).  So, everything is pretty much static; no live equipment demos.  If you want to get away and stretch you heels, it might be fun.  One day is all you will need, though.
