I have been looking for a supplier for some of the connections that I need while building my log home. I have run across the same generic log home web sites and wondering if anyone has some good suppliers. I have 3  vertical   8''x14' logs that support my 3 1/2'' x16'' psl ridge beam. I am looking for hardware to attach the log at the top to the ridge and at the bottom on the subfloor . The logs are in the loft and will sit on the subfloor supported from the first floor beam below. I will be needing a lot of other types of fasteners and just wondered if anyone had any good suppliers I can use over the internet. Thanks for the Help :)

This is Schroeder's there probably one of the larger suppliers

Cor-Tenn sends catalogs, I haven't had any dealings with them though. Simpson does make some heavy hardware. Sometimes you have to fire up the welder, if its a critical application it should be engineer drawn and certified welder fabricated.
