I am trying to find out what the biggest eastern white pine is. Right now I am working beside one that some people say it is the biggest , I cant find any records that confirm it. It is about 27' around and about 185' tall (measured with a helicopter) The only problem is that it died last year, so I guess it might be the biggest dead white pine! The tree is located in central Ontario
Thanks !!

The Eastern White Pine was declared the arboreal emblem or the official tree of Ontario in 1984. The largest and tallest Eastern White Pine as nominated by The Honour Roll of Ontario Trees is in Haliburton County. It is 67.7 in (172 cm) in diameter and 148 feet (45.1 m) in height.

This one might be gone too, not sure.
