Does anyone have some good pictures of the Norwood Log Loader? (for loading logs onto the mill). I would like to build something like it but would like to see a little more detail.

Thanks

I looked at that but it doesn't have much lifting capacity.
17" and smaller, not sure about weight.
Nova Jack has one also.

Hi Kevin

I meant the winch device used to load the logs on the saw.

As for the other I like the looks of the Nova Jack unit but I don't think it would be hard to make one.

I've been looking through these topics for a few minutes now, because I KNOW I read a discussion about this that included pictures.  Turns out the topic was discussed over on Woodweb.  Go go woodweb.com and click on the sawing and drying forum...there is a topic called "log loader".  Just scroll down the page a little bit to find it (it's one of the topics with a little camera in front of it).  There's a couple nice homemade ones pictured there.  I'd like to build something myself...rolling those big'uns with a cant hook is getting tiresome  :-/
