Well i got the photos loaded so here we go.

me and dad started the ugly log we cut out of a 45' pine. this thing we right in the middle and about 8' long with a 16" dia.

this is the end of the log on the big end

after we squared it up we ended up with a nice 10" beam

btw that is my new 1220 TimberKing. i can't saw enough about this saw. it has worked great since i open the crate.

This last one is the log arch i built. i think i have about $250.00 in the whole thing.

Well thats it for now. my pics to come

So....I gotta ask, who's the "little" guy in the photo?  Is that your little brother? ;D  Nice mill and arch by the way.  What do you pull the arch with, an ATV or can you pull it by hand if the logs aren't too big?  Just wondering.

That log on the mill looks like it is still growing!

I have a large pine that the drought killed this fall.  If you want it, you can come get it.  Should be some nice clear wood in it.  I have been cutting maple and don't have time to fool with it.  Plus, I am a hardwood man anyway.
