I have had a Valby CH140 chipper with hydraulic feed for over ten years.  Of all the equipment that I have owned, it has got more work than any cleaning up my farm.  It will chip 6 inch diameter round stock, and up to 9 inch wide boards.  I believe it is rated up to 40 hp.  Valby also make some bigger chippers.

From a safety standpoint, the hydraulic feed is worth the extra money.  Feed rate is adjustable.

I am not familiar with the Wallenstein chipper.

Here's Wallenstein's website that describes the model 62.  Power recommendations are 35-100 hp.

I find those BXT 6224 kind of nice.  24 hp, takes a 12" slab, and you don't have to tie up your tractor.

Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large groups.
