Is there a way to store magazines to keep them from yellowing?

I wonder if using a vacuum sealer will work?

Might be a pain if you want to read them often...
Got my WM lt40g24, Setworks and debarker in oct. '97, been sawing part time ever since, Moving logs with a bobcat.

If you are talking about back issues of Taunton press'
Fine Woodworking or Fine Home Building,  you can avoid
the problem by sending them to me.   I would like to "store"
some back issues.
:D
Some mags are not printed on a high enough quality paper
to not yellow.  The acid content causes it to happen.  Same
thing with books.

Nitrogen storage?

Bi-VacAtional:  Piano tuner and sawyer.  (Use one to take a vacation from the other.) Have two Stihl 090s, one Stihl 075, Echo CS8000, Echo 346,  two Homely-ite 27AVs, Peterson 10" Swingblade Winch Production Frame, 36" and 54"Alaskan mills, and a sore back.

I store mine in a file cabinet, draped over a hanging file folder. I've had no trouble with yellowing. I think light may have something to do with it, especially sunlight.

I have a shelving unit I built in my shop for all my woodworking magazines (Going back to the early '80s). I figure the layer of sawdust on 'em keeps them from yellowing. 8)
