Fla_Deadheader watches Tom trim boards at Braddocks as Doug loads the mill

Fla_Deadheader meets Doug and describes Costa Rica.  Then he finds out that Doug is from Panama.
Reina was supervising from the edge of the woods.  See her in the red shirt?   :D

Did some disaster befall her own shirt and she had to borrow one of Tom's???    :D :D :D

Reinas a Red Shirt Gal and found herself in good company.   ;D   I don't think it was by design. :D

She's a lot of fun and game for learning most anything about a new country.  I fed her palmetto hearts at the saw job and she took the frond home with her.  Gave her some Red Bay Leaves too.  She was really excited.  Harold doesn't think she can get through customs with them, but we'll see.

She enjoyed the fresh fruit that Gael bought for their visit, but, seemed to like our fare of mashed potatoes, pot roast, carrots and iced tea too.

She had two helpings of grits for breakfast and even tasted some heavily smoked sausage that we get out of South Georgia.   Biscuits and butter were a hit and we all, accept Gael, enjoyed lots of coffee.  :D

Jeff

Costa Rica is a colorful country Tom would be rather plain there in his red shirt and jeans. He would need to come up with a more colorful uniform, maybe with all the colors of a Macaw.  :)

I'm tryin to talk Tom into a visit. I think he would enjoy the trip, immensely.

What's the humidity there like?  Is the air real thick? I had a little trouble breathing in SE Asia. Now I'm so aclimated to a higher altitude, I probably would have a hard time breathing.

You guys are probably more used to it, from living in Florida. Heck- I even notice the humidity change going down south to my home town of Sacramento now.

Sure would like to travel there some time though..  8)

I believe we are at 1500 ft elevation. Either that or 1500 meters.  ::) ::)

Air is so clean, we get runny noses going to San Jose, the BIG City.  ;D

You're kidding????

TOM!!! What's yer problem!? If Fred invited me, I'd be at the airport before the phone line went cold.

Fred, if Tom doesn't 'want to' come, let us know, I'm sure someone living in/around Florida knows a good psychiatrist we can send over to visit him.

Yeah Asy, we already had one set of visitors and are still recovering...  ::)
So, how did I end up here anyway?

Tom

Now I know why you guys like it so much down there.  You have already bared the eyes of thousands of Floridians to New Jersey's, image of Poinsianna, flowered, Florida shirts, striped shorts and sockless shoes.  Now you've moved off to a little country far, far away where they can't run and hide as good. :D :D

The next thing you know, you'll be wanting machete registration.  :P :D
