Recently, we have had a couple of calls from FF members for pink tools.  There is a 100 piece minimum or a service charge for fewer pieces.  So we are putting out an all call for anyone who wants a pink tool that way we can spread the cost over as many pieces as possible saving the members money.  So if you ever thought you wanted a pink tool, now is the time.  You can email me for details.

This is a joke right? I think i'd rather learn to knit than carry a pi*k [can't even type it] tool into the mill.  ::)

I have a pink wonderbar and a pink 12ga 100' extension cord that I have used on quite a few job sites and nobody has drug them off on me yet. Maybe a pink Logrite tool would work the same way.

We have had several guys tell us that no one messes with a man with a pink tool.  One guy who took the tool shopteacher was holding said it was an antitheft color, not to mention easy to find.

I'm thinking I should have a pink peavey signed by Kevy. ;D (engraved so I could still use it.)  It could be called the Nekid Kevin series peavey. ;D

Now, now I'm starting to get a little jealous.  Kevie is my nickname for him.

Quite a few years ago I worked with a welder who had way too much macho attitude so one night we painted all his tools pink  ;D  ;D

He would not do a lick of work til he had them all clean again - took him all day(with no pay!)   8)

Depending on pricing, I'd be in for 2 long cant hooks and a board pick.
Providing they also had a FF sticker on them - gotta promote the forum, right?

I've been wandering around the LogRite site, and now I have a question.

Would everyone who's likely to laugh please stop reading now.

What's the difference between a Peavy and a Cant hook? They look the same.

Other than the fact that one rhymes with Kevie. :D  ::)

Which would be the best 'first tool' for someone with no tools.

We had a discussion about this about a year ago, you are not the only one in doubt about which is which.

The peavey has a sharp point on the end and is most often used in the logging : when skidding, decking ,or on the river.

The cant hook is most often found around the mill. It has a small hook or toe opposing the main hook and is real handy for turning logs or cants(a log that's been squared off).

You can have no doubts on your manhood to wear pink shirts or handle a pink cant hook.

If you're using a pink cant hook and someone comes to heckle you about being less of a man, a quick crack across his shins with that pink cant hook will get his attention and he will be less likely to heckle you in the future.  ;D ;D
