Hey!
I just went and looked at an old peterson
He said it was called a log locust
It looks like ant ATS but the side rails are manual
6" blade 5 HP electric motor
came set-up with a Chainsaw motor ! He put the electric motor on it
There is no Gear box so the motor tips with the blade
So I don't think You could put a regular honda or Briggs on It
Any one know if you can retro fit it with newer stands ?

Sure, you can buy the ATS uprights and make it all go up and down with 2 hand cranks.  The Log Locust is a discontinued model, but parts are still available.

That's what model Peterson I was looking at awhile back.. Didn't know it was called a log locust.
