Just saw a recall bulletin on TV about a Ryobi radial arm saw.  It seems the blade has a nasty habit of coming loose and doing the Frisbee thing around the workshop. :o  I didn't catch the model number, but if you have a Ryobi RAS, you might want to check their website.

That's scary.   :o  The newer Ryobi stuff is OK, but 20 years ago when they were making those radial arm saws, they were junk.  The construction company I used to work for had one, and it could not, would not cut the same place twice.   We used to call it the random arm saw.    I had a chance to buy the thing when the company went out of business, and it wasn't worth my time and effort to take it to the landfill.
